Payment of Conference Fee

  1. Payment of conference fee
  2. Don't forget that you must send your deposit on the conference fee with your paper submission, or arrange for it to be sent by bank transfer to arrive by the same date.

Possible methods of payment are: (in the following instructions replace "ue" in "Muenchen" by German "u" with Umlaut, if possible)

    1. Bank Transfer
    2. Arrange for the following bank account to be credited 200 Deutschmark (or 100 Euro, or 100 US Dollar, at your convenience).

    3. Cheque
    4. (Of course, you probably know that you are not really meant to send cash by post (and if you do then it is at your own risk). However, if we do happen to find a sum of 200 Deutschmark in your submission we will credit your account with us accordingly.)

Please send an email when you dispatch your paper and deposit notifying us of how you are sending it (e.g normal mail, registered mail, name of courier service), and the method of payment you are using. We will confirm receipt.

At the end of the conference you will be able to settle up by credit card at the conference venue for the sum that remains outstanding on the conference fee after taking this deposit and any financial support into account.

  3. Conference dates, Travel
  4. Previous information on the website had a slight discrepancy regarding the conference dates. These are May 1st to 4th. However, the general idea is that participants arrive at the conference venue by Sunday evening, April 30th so that we can start promptly on Monday May 1st. We aim to conclude the meeting by mid-afternoon of Thursday May 4th. Some preliminary travel information is available on the website.

  5. Financial Support
  6. For those of you who applied for financial support following the last email circular, the situation at the moment is that the final figures have not yet been worked out, but it will definitely exceed the figure of DM 300 mentioned in that mail.

    That's all for the moment
