Uwe Reichel was born in 1976 in Munich, Germany. He obtained his Ph.D. on intonation modelling in 2010 at the Institute of Phonetics and Speech Processing, University of Munich. His work covers

From August 2011 to October 2015 he was working in the CLARIN-D project (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure) on phonetic webservice backend development and the maintenance of the BAS speech data repository. From November 2015 till October 2017 he worked at the Research Institute for Linguistics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences mainly on the entrainment of intonation patterns. In November 2017 he turned back to the IPS to work on computational prosodic language typology. Since November 2015 his work is financed by the Alexander von Humboldt foundation (Feodor Lynen grant and Return Fellowship).
